  Reflection on Joshua 1:9 Joshua 1:9 is a powerful reminder of God’s presence and encouragement in our lives. The verse says,  "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  These words were spoken to Joshua as he stepped into a leadership role after Moses’ death. He was about to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, facing uncertainty and challenges ahead. But God assured him—he was not alone.  This same promise applies to us today. Life brings moments of fear, uncertainty, and discouragement—whether it’s starting a new job, facing a health challenge, or stepping into an unknown season.
